New Year, New Semester, New Backpack

Hey Everyone,
Today I started my second semester of college and after 4 years of the same backpack it was time for a new one. So we went to our favorite fabric store, Sew To Speak and got a sturdy yellow exterior (there is a plastic lining so its water proof), and canvas navy gray for the bottom panel and then a cream and orange quilting cotton for the lining. I used the Noodle head Backpack pattern and yes it looks complicated and the first few instructions are hard to follow but once you get the hand of everything, its mainly just repeating the same steps over and over. Super easy. And I really enjoy the outcome.

The only hang up I have is with the lack of pockets inside the backpack, theres one. I would recommend changing the sizing and make it so the pocket could fit a laptop or tablet. Then the outside pocket you do this folding technique in the middle but if you also did it on the end sides of the pocket then you could have fit double the amount of stuff in it.

But overall, the zipper was really easy to put in and the straps were a nice thing to learn. I love learning and being creative so thing project was prefect to start off the new semester with and I'm excited to use it during the school year!

Wishing you guys the best,

AROBEK

What I’ve been up to

Hey everyone!
Hope that everyone's holidays went well and got to be surrounded by family. I really enjoy being able to see my family and appreciate the time I get with them, and now that I'm at college I don't get to see them as often, so this past month has just been really special. Anyway, recently I've gotten into digital art. So my parents surprised me with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, which then we decided to go half and half on it. I've been using the app Procreate. Which is so user-friendly and easy to use. I would definitely recommend watching a YouTube video on it just so you could learn the basics.
So here are my girls. I have to say that I did use a template that I found online by just googling Fashion templates.
If you guys have any questions or comments, you can email me in the contacts or just comment on this post. and you can also reach me @Arobek on Instagram.

wishing you the best,

What I want for this blog

Hi everyone,
After pursuing the internet in order to find out what a so-called "fashion blog" is, I decided that this is not going to Be your average fashion blog. They say that you should write about your passions and "Ten Fashion Trends This Winter Are…." is not my passion. I don't mean to make light of Fashion Forecasting or Trend Setting Jobs, they are difficult jobs and respectful ones. But it's just not something you will find on this blog.
What I hope to be writing on this blog is, what is Fashion School Like, Defining the different Terminology, some sewing tips, and tricks, how to start designing garments, What my garments look like, and so on and so on. I love fashion, I want you guys to love fashion, but there is so much more going behind the scenes in the industry, that I would like to talk about.
Lots of love,
Arobek
